Morrocan
Although the official language of Morocco is Classical Arabic but Moroccan is the most widely spoken language in Morocco. This language is basically a varied version of Classical Arabic spoken by about 10 million people in Morocco and is also called dialectal Arabic. French which is 3rd most popular language, Spanish and English are also spoken by Moroccan people. In rural areas of Morocco, Berber is spoken as a first language or second in different varieties. Many names are used for this Arabic, Moroccan language like Arabic: Moroccan Colloquial, Arabic, Moroccan Spoken, Arabic: Morocco, Maghrebi Arabic, Maghribi Colloquial Arabic, Marrakech,
Moroccan Arabic, Moroccan Colloquial, Moroccan Colloquial Arabic, Moroccan Darija. It is also spoken in Algeria, Belgium, Egypt, France, Germany, Libya, Netherlands, Tunisia and UK.
It differs from classical Arabic in pronunciation and grammar, while its vocabulary has a more French influence as compared to Arabic spoken in other countries. Due to frequent and random mixing of Arabic Moroccan with French by its speakers, it becomes quite confusing for a foreigner trying to learn and understand the dialectal Arabic and French or even for a person who understands either of them.
